October Principal's Message
Dear Parents & Guardians,
The Fall season is upon us and we are making plans for many special school events in the upcoming weeks.
October is the time of year where we make a large scale kick-off to highlight, discuss and promote the National Week of Respect, National Red Ribbon Week, National School Violence Awareness Week, Mix It Up Day, and Unity Day. Ultimately, all of these initiatives have one important message in common: RESPECT. These events are in place to promote respect of oneself, others and the environment, to respect and to accept everyone for both their similarities and differences, and to respect one’s feelings, perspectives, and experiences.
We are also working diligently to prepare for our annual Run For Vets event that is scheduled to take place on November 2, 2016. More information on those activities will be posted on our school homepage.
Thank you all for your continued support of the McAuliffe Middle School!
