Let Us Help You: Counseling Available April 11 and 13 at Jackson Liberty High School

April 7, 2017
As we head into spring break week, we want to still be able to provide our students and parents with the support they may need during this time of loss.
We encourage any student or parent looking for support and guidance on how to help themselves or a loved one through a time of grief or crisis to visit us at Jackson Liberty High School during two open-door counseling sessions we are holding over spring break.
We will have counselors from throughout the district and from the Traumatic Loss Coalition available at Jackson Liberty High School during two days:
  • Tuesday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Thursday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to noon
We also want you to know that we are in the process of working with the Traumatic Loss Coalition on a presentation designed to help parents and students deal with loss and deal with the stresses of the adolescent and teenage years. We will forward more information to you about that presentation when we finalize the details.
Please also keep in mind that we have a useful list of Crisis Resources for Families that may be helpful to you in times of tragedy or loss. We encourage you to review these resources and to let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you.
