    This course will revolve around the new issues of the day in varying disciplines, including art, politics, science, and social studies. Mass media will be analyzed using critical reading skills to determine if bias exists, evaluate the reliability of sources, and the use of figurative language. Students will engage in writing prompts, Socratic Seminar and debate.

    This class is taught on an A/B day rotation and does not meet daily.
