• This will be a Novice-Mid level introductory Spanish course that introduces the students to the three modes of communication: interpretive, interpersonal and presentational, as well as the culture related to the Spanish language. Students will be able to identify main ideas from authentic text, demonstrate comprehension of a series of oral and written directions,and recognize and use cultural practices.

    Students will be immersed in the speaking, listening and cultural significance of the Spanish language and its heritage. Online resources, websites, media, and technology components will be infused into all facets of teaching and learning. Students should feel confident and comfortable in learning Spanish as a second language.

    Students will receive an invite to Google Classroom at the beginning of the marking quarter in which they have World Language. I look forward to a wonderful year!
