    Dear Families,

The class will be working in historical book clubs for reading. During this unit, the students will practice reading historical fiction and begin researching the factual information found in their books. They will also respond in writing about what they have learned and how it relates to their world today. In math, we will be extending the concept of multiplication fractions. This will include multiplying with whole numbers, mixed numbers, unit fractions, and symbols. Social Studies will correlate directly with our reading and writing units as we explore the American Revolution.

Enjoy the warmer weather and beautiful flowers of Spring,

    Ms. Burke and Ms. Schlossberg
