Our first reading unit is Second Grade Reading Growth spurt. Students will be reading fiction stories in class. Please make sure your child is reading for 15-20 minutes each night. Students should be logging minutes read at home and having a parent/guardian initial their log.Our first writing unit is Revving Up Writing Muscles. We will review what the students learned in 1st grade and establish routines and expectations for 2nd grade.
