Adults attending should be prepared to show identification when signing in at the reception desk. We do not have a Kindergarten gradution so this is our big event. We are trying to read harder books for longer periods of time. We are looking at the characters and what is happening in the story. We will continue to work on our Pointer Power, Picture Power, Partner Power, Snap Word Power, Reread Power, Persistence Power, Sound Power, Pattern Power to read bigger books. In Writers Workshop we will be writing letters to state our opinion and persuade change. The new words for this week are: has, had, too, out. In Math we will be starting Topic 12: Identify and Describe Shapes.
Reading bags will be coming home this week. Remember to read and review the sight words daily.
