    Random Ask!
Does anyone have one of those wipe on/off wheels that we could borrow this year?

    Here's an example: https://www.amazon.com/Moon-Glow-Sports-Inch-Tabletop-Customize/dp/B077W2ZV53/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1540786863&sr=8-3&keywords=spin+the+wheel

I would like to use it for our Super Improver Award Winners every Friday.
It is kind of a spin off of what I learned at the Ron Clark Academy where every Friday a student earned their letterman jacket for displaying excellence in behavior, academics, or improvement! I can't afford a jacket for each kid so this is the next best thing! :)

    Dear Parents and Family Members,

Thank you for taking the time to visit our class homepage! Here, you will find all kinds of information about our classroom. I will try my best to update the website every week! Be sure to check as much as you can too.

My goal is to provide your children with the most loving, safe, and fun learning environment as possible. I want your children to come to school every day being excited and ready to learn something new! I look forward to teaching your children every day and can not wait to see what this year has in store for us!

Thank you for being loving, supportive, and caring parents.

If you have any questions about the website or classroom in general, feel free to e-mail me at: jlmclaughlin@jacksonsd.org

    "One Hundred Years from now
    It will not matter
what kind of car I drove,
What kind of house I lived in,
how much money was in my bank account
nor what my clothes looked like.
But the world may be a better place because
I was important in the life of a child"

    Donors Choose

Last year I had the privilage to go to two amazing workshops. I was funded through DonorsChoose.org. I will be incorporating a lot of what I learned into my classroom this year! Lucky students! I will be posting more projects on Donors Choose this year so I can get the best of the best for my students.

I had to the privilege to meet THE FAMOUS RON CLARK at his school, the Ron Clark Academy, last October. Then in March, I went to an incredible conference in Washington DC called "Get Your Teach On." I learned all about the newest, researched based ways to engage and educatr the students of our future generation.

Here are some pictures from my trip to the Ron Clark Academy.
