Dear First Grader,
I hope you are having a fantastic summer, spending time with family, reading a good book, whatever makes you smile. I’m so excited that you will be in my class this year! I am excited to meet you! We are going to have a fun year in first grade. I can’t wait to teach you new and interesting things.
First Grade is so much fun! We are going to have a busy year together. We will have lots of fun, develop a LOVE for reading, become excellent writers, work with numbers, learn a lot of new and interesting things and make many new friends. I hope you are excited to learn and work together, as much as I am. Enjoy the rest of your summer! I look forward to meeting you and your family in September.
