Last week (11/21-11/23) This week we continue our study of pets! Thank you to the parents who have already donated stuffed animals for our "pet adoption center"! If you have any more stuffed animals you are willing to give to the class, please do so! Also, if you are able to donate soap for the classroom that would be super helpful- we have a soap dispenser but it is a little too high up for the children to reach so I have been supplying the classroom with soap! You can grab some at the dollar store or a super market! I appreciate you all so very much! This week, we are focus on our listening skills. Feel free to go over "how to listen" at home! I remind the students that we use our listening ears, our looking eyes, and our bodies are quiet and still! This Wednesday is a half day! It is also PJ day! We will also be sending home rest time blankets to be washed and returned after the long holiday weekend. Please plan accordingly! I hope you and your families have a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving this year!

This week (11/28- 12/2) This week we will continue to explore  pets! We have been having so much fun learning all about your pets at home! This week, we will keep reading short stories about children and their pets, and connecting the stories to real world scenarios. We continue to work on our classroom rules and routines. Thank you for reminding your child of the classroom rules at home! I appreciate it more than you know! We are still in need of small bottles of soap! Please donate if you are willing and able! As always, please message me via the family app by 9 am LATEST if your child is buying a school lunch (and they are not a daily buyer). We do not check each individual lunch box in the morning so it is crucial you let me know in a timely manner. Thank you for your cooperation on this! Let's have another wonderful week in pre-k!
