My name is Kate Gibson and this is my 16th year of teaching Art. Art has always been an inspiring subject for me and I love strengthening the art skills and creative process in my art students. This year I am teaching  Art Media and Techniques 1,  Art Fundamentals, Honors Studio Art 2, and Honors Studio Art 3. Before launching my teaching career I studied Art and Computer Graphics at Monmouth University where I was also was a student athlete for their division 1 field hockey team. I earned my teaching certificate through a graduate studies program at William Paterson University. Before coming to Jackson Liberty I taught Art at Gateway Regional High School in Woodbury Heights, New Jersey. I coached field hockey for 10 years and assisted basketball, tennis, and lacrosse teams. Welcome to the art department!
