  • Students should be checking their Google Classroom page and their school email account EVERY DAY!

As we move into phase two of Remote Learning, our classes will be planned and instructed by me. I will post all daily and extended assignments here and on the relevant Google Classroom page. It is expected that every student post a response or submit an assignment every school day in order to be "present" for the day.

Please be advised that I will begin having occasional GoogleHangout Meetings. Parents and students should read this notice prior to joining a Google Meeting.

As always, I am here for you. No question is too silly, as reading instructions in print is always accompanied by verbal explanation, which is missing. I can "speak" to you in varied terminology and clarify using paraphrased directives that can open the meaning for you. Do not hesistate to ask me.

Stay healthy and continue to explore the amazing benefits of this new learning environment.

    -Mrs. Mathias

Mrs. Nicole M. Mathias

2019-2020 is my 23rd year of classroom instruction. I am experienced in the teaching of English, Drama, and am the director of the school's plays and musical productions. I expect that students will work hard and develop the skills of learning and living while in my class. I am usually available during period 5, but prefer students to make arrangements in advance.
