Welcome to the band room! My name is Mr. McCarthy and I have been teaching in Jackson for 36 years. My primary instrument is the Trumpet, and I do like to play the piano. I love teaching students about music, and I have very high expectations for my ensembles. Band can be fun, when you put the work into it. You have to do your homework and practice your music in order to do well. The more you put into it, the more you'll get out of it!

REPORT TIME - 6:50 PM
CONCERT START TIME - 7:15 PM
ALL STUDENTS MUST ATTEND THE CONCERT.
IT COUNTS AS AN EXAM GRADE!
INSTRUMENT MAINTENANCE!
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO OIL YOUR VALVES/SLIDES.
GREASE YOUR CORKS ON YOUR WOODWIND.
HAVE SOME REEDS FOR YOUR CLARINET/SAX (USE #3 SIZE THIS YEAR)
