March Principal's Message

Hello Switlik Families,

Happy March to everyone! I want to take the opportunity to thank the PTN for organizing the Hoe-Down Dance last Friday.   We had a capacity crowd and everyone had a great time. 

Read Across America and our Scholastic Book Fair commence on Monday, March 3rd and will run through Friday, March 7th.  Students and staff are “Turtle-y Into Reading!” and will show their School Spirit this week.

Kindergarten Registration:  Kindergarten Registration Has Begun! Kindergarten Registration will be done BY APPOINTMENT now through the end of March here at Switlik. Effective April 1st, registration will be done BY APPOINTMENT at the Registration Office at Liberty High School. Please do not wait to register - it is very important that we process your registration as soon as possible so we can place your child for next year. Please fill out our online Pre-Registration Form, then the supplemental forms - and then call right away to make your appointment. Report Cards:  As the second marking period nears an end on March 18th, please be sure you are ready to access your child’s report card on the district portal website.  Report cards will be available on the portal to parents on March 27th.

March 10th:  School Spirit Day - Mario Day - Dress up as Mario!

March 10th:  Shortened Day for Students - 1:40 p.m. dismissal

March 11th:  PTN Meeting/6:15-7:15 p.m. - APR

March 13th:  Wizards vs. Switlik Staff Game/6:00-9:00 p.m. - Liberty HS

March 17th:  School Spirit Day - St. Patrick’s Day - Dress as a leprechaun or wear green!

March 27th:  Reports Cards Available on Portal for Parents
