Second Marking Period Principal's Message

Hello Jaguar Family,

The 2nd Marking Period is upon us, and what an exciting time it is for our brand new Jackson Township Middle School! The 2025–2026 school year marks the start of something truly special — a new building, a new home, and the blending of two amazing school communities into one united Jaguar family. Together, we are creating new traditions while proudly carrying forward the best of both schools that helped shape who we are today.

Academically, our students and staff are already setting the bar high. Jackson Township Middle School continues to uphold the strong academic reputation that both of our former schools earned, and our collective efforts are ensuring that JTMS remains among the top schools in Ocean County as we tackle an updated state testing format this November. Thank you to our families for the partnership and encouragement that make this possible!

Our fall sports teams carried on the tradition of excellence and teamwork, competing with pride and heart. As we move into the winter season, we look forward to continued success and spirited competition. Our blended Band and Chorus programs are also preparing to showcase their talents at the upcoming Winter Concerts — an event that truly highlights the energy and pride of our new school community.

Character education remains at the heart of who we are. Through programs such as Week of Respect, Student of the Month, Character Recognition, Unity Day, and our updated Mentor initiative, students are learning what it means to be responsible, kind, and positive members of the JTMS community.

Our PTN continues to shine! They organized a highly successful schoolwide CLUE game and provided tremendous support for our “Halloween Spooktacular.” We encourage all families to get involved—there’s always room to join the PTN!

Thank you for your continued support as we build our new identity together — one grounded in pride, tradition, and unity. The future is bright for Jackson Township Middle School!

Go Jaguars!
