STEM
The Elms Elementary School, along with the Jackson School District, is proud to be integrating STEM into our building. With thanks to Dr. Lisa Lane & Ms. Danielle Parella, we were awarded the Ocean First Grant and have created a new STEM Lab on the 2nd floor. Ms. Parella & Ms. Sendecki have run 2 sessions of a Robotics Club as a soft opening, and the official “ribbon cutting” will soon be upon us! With this in mind, I wanted to share with you the following link regarding the future of STEM and just a few of the endless possibilities we will be exploring.

Elms Learning Garden
Thanks to Ms. Jessica Fioretti and the PSEG, Sustainable Jersey Grant, Elms is the proud owner of a Learning Garden! With the help of the Elms Garden Club (a collection of students and staff volunteers in Grade K-5), we have planted fruits and vegetables, and have created a Touch and Feel Garden.
