Celebrating Success!

Thank you to the PTN for a great Gr 5 trip to Black Bear Lake!  The students had a great time!  Thank you especially to Mrs. Buchinsky who was instrumental in planning the trip.

Thank you to our Kindergarten staff and students for a great Memorial Day show!  It was very patriotic and moving.

Thank you to Mr. D’Ambrosio for facilitating our K-4 Field days!  Rain or shine, he got the job done!

The Elms School would like to thank Mrs. Kondos for her many years of service to the Jackson School District.  Congratulations on your retirement, Claudia!

Community Building
On Thursday, June 1 Mrs. Schnorbus' class went to Pace Charter School in Hamilton to meet their second grade pen pals. It was a fun day! They met the child that they had been writing to all year. They took a picture together, decorated a frame to put the picture in and read a book about letter writing.

District Homework Survey

The Jackson School District is interested in getting feedback from parents and guardians about homework in our elementary schools. We'd like to get your opinions and thoughts on both the AMOUNT of homework your children are assigned, and your thoughts on how VALUABLE homework is to their education.

Please take a few moments to share your thoughts with us. This survey is anonymous - your email address or personal information will NOT being collected. The survey should take less than three minutes. It will close on June 16.
