Principal's Message - December 2017

Dear Elms Family,

With the holidays rapidly approaching, let us be the first to extend to you and your family a warm Season’s Greetings!  It was wonderful to see so many parents and friends during parent-teacher conference week.  On behalf of the Elms staff, we thank you for taking the time to meet with your child’s teacher and to visit our school.  Marinating and strengthening the home-school connection is the key to success.

Thank you all you donated to the Elms Think Pink Walk.  Pictures from this event are posted on the school website.  All monies ($2213.00!) collected were donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help support breast cancer research.

This past month, Ms. Constance Panton, published author, visited Ms. Galatola’s 3rd grade class.  Thank you Ms. Panton for sharing your stories with our students and helping them with their writing projects.

Thank you to Jenkins’ Aquarium for a great Penguin Program!  Pictures are on the Elms website.
