Elms Principal Message - March 18, 2020

Dear Elms Family,

We hope you are all well! Please know that we are thinking about each of our students and our school’s families. As our school community works in partnership to navigate the transitional period ahead of us, please know Elms Elementary teachers and staff are committed to our students and families during these difficult times.  Although we may be distancing from each other physically in the short term, our social connections can remain strong through the use of technology. Together, we will make sure our students continue their educational journey until restrictions dissipate.

Please know, student lesson plans can be found on both the district and Elms websites by clicking on the Remote Learning Plans link. It is important to establish academic routines with your student. Continue to check the websites for updated information.   Please reach out to us for technical support. Your child’s teacher is available for questions and support during the typical school day. The best way to reach staff is through email. Contact numbers have also been posted to the district website in the event more information or support is needed.

As we embark on the new journey of remote education we are proud to see the dedication of our staff, students, and families.  Each one of us plays an integral role in this transitional process. Together, we are committed to our students and to working with you as we adapt to our new learning environment. It is our priority to ensure the emotional and educational well-being of our students no matter our current locations.   The Elms staff are available by email to respond to any comments, questions, or concerns you might have regarding your child(ren).

Wishing all of you good health and warm regards.

Sincerely,

Mr. Burgos & Mr. Levinson
