Dance Club
Goetz Dance Team Philosophy:
As a dancer, you represent your school at the highest level of sportsmanship as a leader and a role model. Parents, athletes, teachers, and other community members will look to you in class, at practice, and on the basketball court, so you must always appear neat, organized, and responsible. Dancing takes hard work, persistence, commitment, and dedication to show off your passion for what you do and to be able to do it well. We will continue to challenge each other to be the best dance team we can be while having a lot of memorable experiences together!
Season:
The Goetz Dane Team practices will begin after school on November 20th, The schedule for this season is posted on Google Classroom. During half-time, the team will perform in boys’ and girls’ basketball games. We will practice before the games start. Team members and the coach will provide most of the choreography, and the coach will decide on the appropriate choreography and music.
Physicals:
To audition, each student must have an updated physical. Physicals are online under the Departments and Programs tab, followed by the Athletics tab. Please turn in your physical to the school nurse. Physicals need to be in 1 month before the tryouts start to have our school doctor sign off on them.
