    ¡Bienvenidos!

Welcome to World Language! My name is Señora Barton-Thrift. I have been teaching in the Jackson School District since the 2000-2001 school year. That's 20 years of teaching Spanish! Before that I taught kindergarten, first, and second grade after teaching a year of Spanish in grades 3-5 in North Carolina. I look forward to beginning a new adventure together as we explore the language and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world through remote learning. We will focus on Spanish.

  • I am at Elms on Wednesay, Thursday, and Friday where I teach all World Language classes in grades 3, 4, and 5.

I am at Crawford-Rodriguez on Monday and Tuesday. I have the following teachers' classes: King, Ogletree, Oxx, Gonzales, Karatzia, and Bilder.
