• WELCOME TO THE GOETZ GIRLS SOCCER TEAMPAGE   

    PRACTICE 9/24 - We will be bused over to Jackson Memorial high school to practice and then watch the JMHS Girls Varsity team play vs TRE.  The game starts at 3:45 and Players need to be picked up at JMHS anytime between 4:15 and 5:30.  Please wear your black jersey to practice.

    PRACTICES – All practices are from 2:55 – 4:15 unless specified otherwise.  Please bring a drink, healthy snack, and sneakers if we need to practice inside each day.  Players need a ride at the end of practice.  Players should be picked up in the parking lot on the left during outside practices and the lot on the right during inside practices.  Please do not drive behind the school, all cars must remain in the parking lot. 

    GAMES – We have 12 games on our schedule this season.  One home and one road game verse each of our conference opponents.  The team with the best conference record wins the championship.  Games start generally between 3:30 and 3:45. We play a 50-minute varsity game followed by a JV game.  The length of the JV game varies.  Some JV games will be 50 minutes and some may be shorter.  All family and friends are encouraged to come out to home and away games and support the team.  Players need a ride at the end of home games.  Players will be bused to away games and may take the bus back to Goetz or leave the away game with a parent.  Playing time is earned, not guaranteed.  I try to get everyone as much playing time as possible but a player’s failure to meet team expectations may result in loss of playing time.

    UNIFORMS – Players will receive game and practice jerseys and a pair of shorts.  Players must provide their own pair of black socks.  Players are responsible for taking care of the uniforms and returning them at the end of the season.
