Dear Families,  

WELCOME BACK!!

I hope you all had a fun, relaxing, and educational summer! I can't wait to hear all about it! I am SO excited about meeting you all and being your 5th grade teacher! Get ready for a spectacular year! School starts on Thursday, September 5th, 2024! 

This year, we will study explorers, settlements, and various parts of the United States, conduct hands-on science experiments, expand our knowledge of various mathematical concepts, read a multitude of different genres, become ananlytical thinkers and experienced writers.

Attached is a school supply list to help make you as successful as possible! Please work on getting these supplies by the first week of school! School Supply List 24/25

Please note that if your child is not with me for math or literacy, you should hold off on getting supplies until you have heard from that teacher! For example: Advanced math, Read 180, etc.

If this list of supplies creates a hardship in any way, please let me know!

Make sure to bring your charged chromebook, every day, and your red take home folder that you will recieve the first day of school! 

Having a strong home and school connection is very important to me, so please never hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.  I am looking forward to working together to make this the best year yet!!
