We are happy to announce that this year the first graders will be going to Six Flags Safari in Jackson, NJ. The trip will take place on Tuesday, May 13th. The cost of the trip will be covered by P.T.O. funds.

We will be leaving the school promptly at 9:30 a.m. and returning at approximately 1:45. We ask that you send a bag lunch with your child on trip day (all disposable items). Please write your child’s name on the outside of the bag. We will be eating our lunches outside in the picnic area. Also, children should wear comfortable clothing and shoes (preferably sneakers). Remember to have them wear their t-shirt.  (Red HCJ shirt that was bought for every student earlier this year.)

Please fill out the permission slip that was sent home and return it to school no later than Friday, May 9th.

1. Arrive to school on time.  Buses depart promptly at 9:30.

2. Wear comfortable walking shoes and HCJ t-shirts.  (T-shirts were  sent home earlier this year.)

3. Bring a disposable lunch.  Students carry their own lunch.  NO buying lunches.

4. Students may bring a drawstring bag. 

5. Students may bring $ to purchase souvenirs.  Please place money in an envelope with your child's name and amount on it).
