Dear Johnson Families,

I am sure everyone is welcoming Spring and adjusting to the time change.  This school year is moving quickly as we have just started our 3rd and final marking period.  Please be sure to check the Parent Portal on Tuesday, March 29th for 2nd marking period grades. 

This past month we observed Read Across America and celebrated with many fun activities including a Spirit Week, a Story Walk and our first March Madness-Battle of the Books! The PTO also hosted our Spring Book Fair and Gertrude Hawk Chocolates Fundraiser. 

Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-2023 school year will take place during the month of March by appointment only.  If you have a child turning five years of age on or before October 1, 2022, you can pre-register online or contact the school to pick up a registration packet.  Please contact Johnson to schedule an appointment for March.  If your child will be eligible for kindergarten in September and is currently enrolled in preschool at Johnson, please contact the main office to see what is required for your child for kindergarten enrollment.

PTO Upcoming Events:

The PTO has a lot of fun events planned for the spring.  More information will be shared soon, so be on the lookout for details:

  • April 29th – Mother-Son Game Night
  • May 2nd – 6th - Teacher Appreciation Week   We will share ways for you to participate and help celebrate our teachers and staff!
  • May 4th – 6th – Mother’s Day Plant Sale
  • May 13th – Sweetheart Dance
