Requesting a Pre-School Evaluation for Your Child

After reviewing the information on the Child Find page and/or evaluating your child's development, you may wish to arrange to have your pre-kindergarten child evaluated in order to determine if they qualify for preschool special education services.

In order to do that, the Jackson School District must verify that you are a resident of Jackson, as only Jackson residents are entitled to services through the public school district.

To do this, please:

1. Download the Pre-School Handicapped Registration Form. 
2. Make a registration appointment by calling the district registrar at 732-415-7004.
3. Write a letter formally requesting an evaluation by the district (please include all your contact information).
4. Bring your completed registration packet, your evaluation request letter to your scheduled appointment.
