    Remote Learning Lesson Plans



      Lesson Plans for Tuesday April 7th

    Reading: Read non-fiction for 20 minutes. Think about or write down one or two things you are wondering about your topic. Continue logging each day. reading log
    Writing: Continue working on your opinion essay. Choose one of the topics on this sheet or a topic of your own. Remember to include a topic sentence and three reasons why.  Students can use the paper to draw a picture and write at least one story this week. Example  Writing Paper

    Homework is usually assigned Monday – Thursday

    Please review spelling words, high frequency daily. There will be a Math worksheet and a Literacy assignment. I expect homework to be completed every night. Please have your child read to you or with you every night.

    Reading Logs/Readers Response:
    Please make sure your child is reading every night for 15-20 minutes and filling out their reading log and having it signed. It builds their fluency and higher level comprehension skills.Please make sure they respond. Your support is greatly appreciated.

    Students should practice their spelling & high frequency words nightly.
