Mrs. Melissa Moody

This is my fourth year teaching kindergarten in Jackson, but my first here at Crawford. I spent the last three years teaching kindergarten at Rosenauer. While this is only my fourth year teaching in the Jackson School District, I have many years of experience working with young children.

I completed my undergrad at Rutgers University and later received my Masters in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. Before being hired by the Jackson School District, I spent 15 years teaching at the Jackson KinderCare. During my time there, I worked with various age groups from Infants to School-Aged children that attended before and after school, as well as five years teaching the Private Kindergarten when it was offered.

Teaching young children is truly my passion and I am so happy to be here this year with your children! I can’t wait to see how much they will learn and grow during the course of the school year!
