Understanding Assessments and Grading
Be Prepared for Graduation:
Please keep in mind that the state of New Jersey requires the successful completion of certain assessments (e.g. the PARCC tests) in order for a student to graduate.
Assessments We Use
The Jackson School District uses a number of assessments to measure student achievement and to assist us in designing instruction that meets the needs of all students. These include state standardized tests (e.g. PARCC and NJ ASK) and other assessments (e.g. SRI, SMI).
