Mrs. Laura Hughes

I am excited to be in my 21st year in education and my 11th year working as the Reading Specialist at Crawford-Rodriguez Elementary School! I love working with students of all ages, and watching them learn and grow as readers. I earned by Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey in 2003 and my Masters Degree and Reading Specialist certification from Rutgers in 2009. 

I live in Allentown with my husband and three sons, Aiden, Owen, & Liam.  I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and of course reading!
