Thank you to all who have already contributed to our PTN Gift Basket.  If you would still like to send in a Lego donation, we will gladly accept:)  Thank you!!!!

I know some parents ask if we need anything for our classroom, and if you would like to donate anything, I greatly appreciate it.  Some things we are always in need of are tissues, ziploc bags (big and small),hand sanitizer, wet ones, and clorox wipes (to get those icky germs away!).  If you are getting rid of some board games or legos throughout the year, we will gladly take those donations as well.  We utilize those during indooor recess time when the weather doesn't allow us to go outside.  Thank you in advance.  Please remember to practice those addition and subtraction facts regularly!

PLEASE NOTE: We will be having a “Working Snack” in the morning, daily. What that means is that students can have a small snack, but must be able to work while they eat it. Snack is voluntary and will not be provided by the school in the event that a student doesn’t have one.  Also, students may bring in a water bottle and leave it on their desk throughout the day.

    Snack Guidelines:

    • No nuts of any kind
    • Nothing that requires utensils or cutting
    • Healthy snacks only, please
      • Some examples of healthy snacks include pretzels, apples, crackers, goldfish, plain popcorn, sliced veggies, etc.

BOX TOP MONTHLY CONTEST This year we will be doing monthly box top contests. The first one runs from September 1st through September 28th . Box Tops will be collected the last Friday of every month, (with adjustments for Holidays to be announced).

OUR GOALS To reach $4000 in free money for our kids. 100% participation - even if it’s just one coupon. If each student at Elms brought in 100 Box Tops it would mean nearly $6,2000 for Elms amazing kids and teachers. WE CAN DO THIS!

WHAT TO CLIP AND SAVE Clip, save and submit all Box Tops for Education certificates and bonus certificates. Each UNEXPIRED BOX TOPS IS WORTH 1 point. The class that earns the highest average number of Box Tops points will be the winner.

SEPTEMBERS CLASS WINNERS WILL RECEIVE $1 GIFT CARD TO SUPPLY CART

How to summit your Box tops 1.) Place the collected items in a zip top bag or on a Box Tops Collection Sheet. 2.) Be sure your teacher’s name is clearly marked on the bag/sheet.

Bring it in to your teacher.
