Mrs. Lucinda Cooney

Hi Everyone!

My name is Lucinda Cooney and I am a 4th grade in-class support teacher teaching alongside Mrs. Giaconia.  Until recently, I lived in Jackson for many years.  My two children actually attended Johnson and Switlik Elementary Schools, both graduating from JMHS.  I have been teaching at Elms since it opened, and have also taught at Switlik and Crawford-Rodriguez for a total of 22 years in the Jackson School District!  I began my career as an In-class Support teacher in third grade, but I have also had the wonderful experience of teaching regular education in third and fourth grade at Elms.  I am thrilled to be back in third grade once again this year as an In-class Support teacher with Mrs. Giaconia!  Lucky me!
