    Welcome First Grade Friends!!!!

    I am so excited to have you in my class this year! We are going to have a great time building new friendships and learning together!  I hope you have had a wonderful summer making unforgettable memories, and I can't wait to meet you in a few weeks!

    There are only a few things you will need to bring to school with you on the first day of school. I will have everything else waiting for you at your very own desk. The list of items can be viewed by clicking here, or you can find the list lower down on this page. 

     First grade is going to be a great year full of learning! I will see you on September 6th, but until then enjoy the rest of your summer break!!

    ~Mrs. Martinez’s First Grade School Supply List~

    Please have your child bring the following supplies to school with them:

    ~ 1 Hard Plastic Pencil Box- Any Color, Labeled with Name   

      ~ 4 Expo dry erase markers (fine point - THIN markers) - any colors  

    ~ 1 pair of headphones for your Chromebook, labeled in a Ziploc bag (you can find an inexpensive pair at Five Below)  

    ~ 1 box of tissues  

        **Crayons, pencils, scissors, glue sticks, and notebooks will be provided for your child. If you purchased any of these additional items, please keep them at home to use as homework supplies.  Thank you!

    ~Optional School Supplies~

    These items are optional for your child to bring to school:

    ~Small sanitizer for desk area (pocket-sized) sanitizer  

    ~Small pack of tissues for desk area tissues 

    ~Classroom Wishlist~ 

    Below are items we use a lot in the classroom. All donations are optional and greatly appreciated!

    ~ tissue box (cube-shaped) 

    ~ hand sanitizer

    ~ disinfecting wipes

    ~ Ziploc bags (gallon size)

    ~ Bandaids 

    ~ magnetic tape

    ~ glue dots 

    ~ games or card games for Indoor Recess (new or gently used)




    Our class has lunch at 11:10am.

     Limited snacks will also be available to purchase.
