Academy of Business
The Jackson School District's Academy of Business introduces motivated students to the highly competitive field of business. It offers a focused pathway for students who would like to concentrate their studies in business and provides experiences and opportunities that will help students get accepted to the schools of their choice.
The Academy of business features rigorous courses with a focus on real-world applications of skills and concepts, internships and job shadowing via an Advisory Council of Business Leaders, guest speakers, field trips, regional, state and international competitions, completion of a hands-on capstone project, college credit opportunities and more.
Students interested in being chosen for the Academy of Business must fill out an application and take an exam.

Students may apply to more than one Academy, but must complete a separate application for each Academy.

Join us for our JSD PARENT ACADEMY INFORMATION NIGHT for all current eighth grade families
of both Goetz and McAuliffe on:
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2019 - from 6PM to 7PM at Jackson Memorial HS Fine Arts Auditorium
Students interested in applying for the academy will need to submit an online application.The JAB Entrance Exams will be held in February 2020. Dates for the February testing window will be announced (TBA) on or before Friday, January 24th, 2020.
