The Jackson Academy of Digital Media is an exciting program that immerses students in the world of film and television production during all four years of their high school career. The program gives students extensive experience in one of three career pathways: Filmmaking & Scripted Television, Broadcast Television & Unscripted Entertainment or Cinematic Production & Design.
As part of the Academy, students will develop, shoot, edit and package full-length television shows and feature films and have the opportunity to earn college credits and scholarships to post-secondary institutions when continuing their education in the field.
Students interested in being chosen for the Digital Media Academy will be asked to complete an Application. What Will I Study?
There are three distinct pathways from which Digital Media Academy students must choose by the end of their junior year. They are: Digital Filmmaking & Scripted Television, Broadcast Television and Scripted Entertainment and Cinematic Production & Design.
How Can I Talk to Someone More About the Academy?
Students may apply to more than one Academy, but must complete a separate application for each Academy.
