    Pupil: That's not fair! You answered the easy ones and left me with the hard one!

    Q: What has forty feet and sings?
    A: The school choir!

    Q: Why does a flamingo lift up one leg?
    A: Because if he lifted up both legs it would fall down!

    Q: Teacher: Now class I want you all to answer at once. How much is six plus 4?
    Class: At once!

    Q: Where do tadpoles change?
    A: In a croakroom!

    Q: What sort of animal is a slug?
    A: A snail with a housing problem!

    Q: What is "out of bounds"?
    A: A tired kangaroo!

  • Valentine's Boxes

    Students are creating their own Valentine's Boxes decorated as an animal of their choice. Directions for this project were already sent home. These boxes are due on Wednesday, February, 12th.

    In Science we are learning about Earth's Systems and our culminating project will be to construct a building that can withstand an earthquake.

    We will also be taking our Topic 6 Math Test on Friday, January 31st. Students will be bringing home Review Sheets to study for this test.

    Math Fact Fluency Quizzes will be once a week along with indivdual fact quizzes (ex: 3 times tables 4 times tables etc.)

    The summary on our reading logs is not completed at home. It is completed on Monday mornings as part of Morning Meeting.

    We are working on Unit 2-Reading the Weather, Reading the World. Students will be working in research teams to complete a project on a natural disaster of their choice.
