Hello Crawford-Rodriguez Families,

Can you believe it? Tomorrow is the big day….the first day of school for the 2019-2020 school year!  I look forward to seeing all of the Wildcats tomorrow!  The first day of school is an exciting day!  I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer.  It is time to get this school year started!

Your children will be coming home with a great deal of information.  Please review everything being sent home carefully.  Thank you to the PTN for the folders and planners!  There are so many exciting activities the PTN has planned this year starting with the Kids Gift Auction and Back to School Movie Night on September 20.

School Hours

Grades K-5:  8:45am – 2:55pm

Pre-K (Ms. Taylor’s class):  10:00am – 4:00pm

Pre K (Ms. Lykes’ class):  10:00am – 12:30pm

Pre-K (Ms. Manzo’s AM class):  10:00am – 12:30pm

Prd-K (Ms. Manzo’s PM class):  1:30pm – 4:00pm

Dismissal Procedures

Please make sure to provide a note to your child’s teacher if your child will be attending the childcare afterschool program.  Additionally, if you are picking up your child at dismissal, please send a note to your child’s teacher. 

Always provide a note for your child’s teacher if there is a change to dismissal procedures. 

If you are picking up your child at an earlier time than the 2:55pm dismissal time, please send a note in with your child so your child will be ready to leave once they are signed out with the receptionist. 

Please be prepared for buses to be delayed in the afternoon as dismissal takes longer the first day of school as students are becoming familiar with the routine.

Back to School Night Dates September 2019

Pre-K Ms. Manzo’s class only:  Tuesday, September 17 @ 5:30pm

Grades K-2:  Tuesday, September 17 @7:00pm

Pre – K Ms. Lykes and Ms. Taylor’s class:  Tuesday, September 24 @ 5:30pm

 Grades 3 -5:  Tuesday, September 24 @ 7:00pm

(Parents of students in Ms. Lykes and Ms. Taylor’s Class:  Please note the change for Ms. Lykes and Ms. Taylor’s back to school night. It was originally scheduled for Tuesday, September 17.  If you have any concerns about the change, please contact Ms. Lykes and Ms. Taylor.)

September Activities

Patriot Day - Wednesday, September 11:  Wear Red, White and Blue

School Spirit Day – Friday, September 20:  Wear your CR spirit apparel or the school colors, red, black and gray

Week of September 9 – Welcome Back to School Assemblies

School is closed on the following days in September and October:

October 14 (for students only) – staff in service day
