April 3 – Talent Show Dress Rehearsal – Jackson Liberty High School – 5:00pm

April 4 – POW / MIA Grade 4 Assembly

April 5 – Talent Show – Jackson Liberty High School – 6:00pm

April 9 – Grade 4 Old Barracks Trip (Trenton) – Mr.Daut/Ms. Williams and Ms. Cayetano/Ms. Silverstein’s classes – 9:00 – 1:45pm

April 10 – Grade 3 and 4 Fire Safety Program

April Shortened Days and School Closings

Thursday, April 18 is a shortened day. 

               Pre-school Shortened Day School Hours

               AM Session:  9:00am - 11:00am

               PM Session:  12:00pm - 2:00pm

               Grades K-5 Shortened Day School Hours

               8:45am - 1:15pm

 School is closed for Spring Break Friday, April 19 – Friday, April 26.  School re-opens on Monday, April 29. 

 

Second Marking Period Report Cards Available

Second marking period report cards will be available for parents on the portal on Thursday, April 4, 2019. 

 

Equity Survey Grade 3-5 Students

A committee of Jackson educators, consisting of teachers, administrators and board of education members are reviewing equity across the district.  Part of the review includes surveying students. This communication is informing you that students in grades 3-5 will be completing a 20 question Google survey in their classrooms within the next few weeks. The survey is anonymous.  The results of the survey will be used for curriculum planning and training across the district.

May 8 and 9:  Grades 3, 4 and 5 ELA

May 14, 15 and 16:  Grade 3, 4 and 5 Math

May 20 – 23:  ELA and Math Make-ups

May 28 – Kindergarten:  9:00 – 11:30 am

May 29:  Grade 2:  9:00 – 11:30am and Grade 1:  12:30 – 2:30pm

May 30:  Grade 4:  9:00 – 11:30am and Grade 3:  12:30 – 2:30pm

May 31:  Grade 5:  9:00 – 12:00pm (raindate – June 3)
