• English III is a course designed to equip students with the skills needed to effectively think, read, and express themselves in writing as reflective, critical individuals. Interdisciplinary connections with twenty-first century themes will be explored.  Detailed instruction and guidance will also be provided throughout extended research and synthesis projects. Students will meet this objective by interpreting various genres of literature and nonfiction. College and career readiness, SAT, and state testing skills are emphasized throughout the course. Students selecting this course should be prepared to be challenged by course work that is a prerequisite to English IV.
