The Jackson High School Guidance and Counseling Program seeks to positively impact the lives of our students by partnering with parents, community, faculty and staff. Our program offers comprehensive planning and guidance services addressing student academic and career goals, as well as personal and social needs.
We work to give students the opportunities to acquire the educational and social competencies necessary for their growth toward lifelong success and effective, responsible citizenship for a diverse and changing world.

Make-Up Final Exams For Semester 2/Full Year Classes
Attention Students: If you missed a Semester 2/Full Year Final Exam and you are not exempt, make-up finals will take place in the Lecture Hall on June 27th and 28th from 9 am to 12 pm. You can come either day, but if you have more than one exam please plan accordingly to give yourself enough time to complete any and all exams. Please enter through the Clayton side. Please contact your guidance counselor/guidance department if you have any questions about Make-up Finals.

2023 Educere Credit Recovery
If your child has failed classes during the 2022-2023 school year they may be in danger of not having enough credits to graduate. Students have an option to repeat up to two (2) courses that they failed during the 2022-2023 school year via Educere, an online learning platform.

Career & College Planning Night Presentation
Career & College Planning Night took place on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. If you missed the event you can view the presentation here. Topics include information about the college or trade school process for first timers and beyond such as: Naviance (College Planning Program), Post-Secondary Planning Calendar, Standardized Test Information, The College Application Process, Financial Aid, and Vocational/Career/Technical Education.
