Mrs. Irina Checorski

I am bilingual and speak Russian and was born in Moscow, Russia. I came to the USA when I was five years old. I received my Bachelor's in Science Elementary Education from West Chester University, PA in 1999. I started out working as a classroom teacher in New Brunswick, NJ and later decided to get my Master's in Education and ESL certificate from Monmouth University, NJ.  I started working with ESL students in Perth Amboy, NJ in 2011, working in grades 5th - 8th. Since, I have been working in-district at Jackson and I am excited about meeting your child and working with them!
