Hello Parents and Students! Phase Two of the remote learning plans can be found on Mrs. Polhemus's and my class page in the link provided below. Phase Two of our remote learning plans will begin Monday, March 30th and continue through Wednesday, April 8th. Our Spring break begins April 9th. Mrs. Polhemus and I are here for you and your child if you have any questions. Please check in with one of us as often as possible so that we can track your child's progress and stay connected. This is a difficult time for everyone and we need to all be supportive of one another. As your child's teachers it is our number one priority to make sure they are happy, healthy, and continuing to learn. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Mrs. Polhemus and I miss your children very much and are so proud of all their hardwork during this time!
We realize that many people have been having a difficult time logging into Pearson Math to complete the Interactive Student Addition pages. Below, you will find links to the practice pages. You can open the links and have the students complete the assigned pages in their blue notebooks. You still only have to complete the pages that are listed in the lesson plan link above. If you are able to log into Pearson to watch the assigned video, I still encourage you to do that!
Monday 3/30: Read somewhere comfy and cozy
Tuesday 3/31: Take a walk or bike ride with a family member
Wednesday 4/1: Play a card game or board game with your family
Thursday 4/2: Write your name with sticks, rocks, or other outdoor materials
Friday 4/3: Draw a picture or write a letter to a friend
You can send your pictures to email@example.com, watch the HOPE Parent Reminders Facebook posts, and visit her teacher page for photo galleries.

You can explore many different books for free on this site. Some books even have a short comprehension quiz at the end. This is a great resource for students who might have read all the books in their red book baggies or all the books at home. Students can choose books based on their reading level and topic of interest. Many of the books on epic are actual books that you would find in the library or in our classroom library. There is also an option to have the books read to you! We have used this website in class a few times, so some students might be familiar with how to use it!
