    Daily Updates

    Friday, May 17, 2019

Today we had fun playing outside with riding scooters, balls, frisbees, and chalk!  We received a new shed today to put some great outside toys in to work on our fine motor skills.  We are excited about filling it up with fun things for the children to ride and play with.  We worked on number recognition with Number Bingo, read Harry and the Lady Next Door, and painted with marshmallows!  We had fun in art class and playing with our friends! Have a great weekend!

    Thursday, May 16, 2019

Today we made a sand paper Mm, played Number Bingo, worked on our addresses, and had computer class.  We cut out a mailbox, colored people cut outs (sorry for the dirty fingers), and played on the playground!  We read Where Butterflies Grow and played with our friends.

    Wednesday, May 15, 2019

Today we reviewed letter Mm by coloring upper and lower case Mm.  We cut out pictures and put then in sequential order to tell a story about planting.  We played Guess What Number is missing and Number Bingo.  We also worked on dot to dot with numbers 1-14 and worked on writing our numbers.  We played kickball in gym class and had fun playing with our friends.  Hi CJ & Mommy!  Thank you for reading my page together!

    Tuesday, May 14, 2019

Today we worked on fine motor skills with playdoh, number recognition with Number Bingo, and beginning sounds with our Alphabet Soup sorters!  We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and participated with props to sequence the story.  We searched for upper and lower case Mm with our search and find paper and worked on cutting skills with butter knives to cut up dough to make Monkey Bread! (Almost everyone loved it) Some of our plants are growing slowly and some are blooming!  Our caterpillars are still sleeping and I'm sad to say that I don't see any ants left.  I have contacted the company to see if they will replace them.

    Monday, May 13, 2019

Today we introduced letter Mm with our letter box.  We made a do dot Mm, played Number Bingo, put together puzzles, and played with our friends.  We sang along to I Am Slowly Going Crazy, moved to Time to Get Up, sang One Small Voice, and went to the library.  Our caterpillars are now all sleeping in the cocoons and we have maybe 2 ants left in our ant farm!  (Ughhhhh my first time with ants so I don't know what happened.)
