    Daily Update:

5/26 Today we had a fun day looking for items that go into categories, playing on the playground, and playing with our friends.  We read a book about opposites, sang along to Johnny Hammers, and watched a story about Memorial day!  Have a wonderful weekend!  See you on Tuesday!

5/25 Today we worked on our cutting skills, put items into different categories, and read Chicken Little.  Our caterpillars are still in their cocoons (except for one) and we are anxiously waiting to see our butterflies! We read our Let's Find Out about Earth day (a little behind) and talked about how we can make a difference!  We sang along to Johnny Hammers, showed our show and tell and played on the playground!  Tomorrow is pajama day and a shortened day!  Thank you for sending in the pizza money ahead of time!

5/24 Today we searched for number 5 and wrote in our journals.  We matched objects with the same beginning sounds, investigated our caterpillars, and played with bubbles outside!  We sang along to our Butterfly song, read It's My Turn, and played on the playground!

5/23 Today we worked on fine motor with playdoh, following directions, moving center to center, read Ruby in Her Own Time, and played on the playground.  We sang along to Peanut On a Railroad Track, played the quiet game (an everyday request from them), and put our cocoons in their new cage!

5/22 Today we put together puzzles, counted with counting bags, made a special present, and made handprints!  We re-read The Very Hungry Caterpillar with props and were so excited to see out caterpillars in their cocoons when we arrived to school!  We played with our friends and played on the playground!

Students will need a regular size backpack big enough to fit a folder. They will also need a small blanket for their rest time.

This page contains flyers and forms that in the past were printed and sent home with students. The change to an online "backpack'' is just one way the Jackson School District is trying to "go green'' to save money, preserve resources, increase efficiency and promote parental involvement.

Show & Tell: We will have show and tell on Thursdays!

The children can bring anything they want for show and tell
