Mrs. Malangone

I am so excited to begin the year in 2nd grade. It was my 2nd grade teacher who inspired me to become a teacher! For the past 10 years, I have been a preferred substitute at Holman Elementary School. During that time, I served as a long-term sub for Mrs. Keller in PE, as well as maternity leave in 4th and 6th grade (McAuliffe). My children went through Holman and I believe there is no better place to be!

Before subbing, I worked for 10 years as a high school English teacher in Elizabeth and Northern Burlington. I then spent 10 years as a stay-at-home mom to my 2 boys, now 17 and 19 years old. My youngest is a senior at Liberty High School and I enjoy watching him play soccer, basketball, and volleyball. In my spare time (what is that?!) I enjoy reading historical fiction. 

I know seeing your child's teacher is on maternity leave  can be stressful. I promise to make the transition as smooth as can be. Most of your children will recognize me on the first day of school, so they will still see a friendly, familiar face.
