Mrs. Torres
Throughout the course of my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to work with a vast array of students and colleagues in various educational positions. In the Jackson School District, I have been a 1st Grade Teacher, Literacy/Math Interventionist, 3rd Grade Teacher, and a Reading Teacher. Prior to the Jackson School District, I worked in the Hamilton Township School District as a First Grade teacher and Basic Skills Teacher.
In 2015-2016, I was honored with the Teacher of the Year Award at Greenwood Elementary School in Hamilton Township.
In 2020-2021, I was honored with the Teacher of the Year Award at Holman Elementary School in Jackson.
I received my Masters Degree in Teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson University and my Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification from Rutgers University. I also received my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Monmouth University.
I served the Jackson School District as a Teacher Leader for 2 years and am a member of various committees.
I whole heartedly believe that every child has unique talents and skills. I look forward to working with you this year to help your child become the best they can be- both academically and personally.
