Ms. Tina

Hi Friends! My name is Ms. Tina Nelson and here's a little bit about me!

I have a BS as a Teacher of the Handicapped, Birth to 21 years of age.  I have been teaching for 30 years! Yikes...time flies! In that time, I have taught self contained kindergarten, the PSD intensive class, and the PSD 2 1/2 hour program.  In addition, I have been doing Early Intervention for 19 years, and have been fortunate to have some of your babies in my class!  It's so awesome to be able to see them grow!  I also have a Masters in Reading, so if your kiddos have difficulty in reading in the future, feel free to ask me for some help.

I am the mother of three children of my own.  They are growing so fast and making me feel OLD! I have an 22 year old son, and two daughters, 20 and 18. I also have two dogs, Cody and Gracie, who make us laugh everyday!  They are truly the funniest Dogs!! My kids and pups are my world, and have taught me to appreciate every moment because time goes by so quickly!

I enjoy reading, watching dramas and reality shows, listening to music and exercising. I was a soccer, basketball, and dance mom. I love Wawa coffee and can't drink enough unsweetened iced tea with lots of lemon.  I also spend a lot of time thinking about my class and the adorable things they say and do.  I may come into school feeling down or tired, and I am guaranteed to be cheered up by my kiddos.  I promise to care for your children as if they were my own, and do my ultimate best to help them grow.
