• Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Camano and I have been a teacher at Jackson Liberty High School for the past 5 years, but this is my 9th year of teaching already! Before coming to Jackson, I worked at Freehold Regional High School District, Howell Public Schools, and Ramapo-Indian Hills School District. I received my BA in History, International Studies, and Secondary Education from Rowan Univeristy and received my Masters degree from NJCU. I am truly passionate about history and am a dedicated memeber of the Jackson Lions' family<3

I also coach the Mock Trial Team, which meets afterschool on Wednesday in C118 until 2:15. In Janurary, we proudly compete against other Ocean County high schools in January at the annual Vincent J. Appruzzese Mock Trial Competition. New members are always welcome and no experience is necessary!

In addition, Ms. Tilker and I are the Class of 2020 advisors. There are 5 class officer positions available each year, one President and four Vice-Presidents. Class officers are democratically elected through class elections in late fall. Officers are responsible for attending monthly meetings, organizing and running fundraisers, and planning events such as BOTC, homecoming, and Junior and Senior Prom. Class volunteers are always needed as well. Get involved, have a say in your school, and meet new friends!

I look forward to meeting all our new students and seeing some familar faces again!
