    Freshman year English is dedicated to exploring issues that are facing the teens of today. The goal is to decide on a topic of interest and use the research process to become an expert on this topic.
     
     
     
      
     
     
    A little about the teacher:
     
    Mrs. Stevens is a Jackson native and product of the Jackson School District.  
    She is a graduate of Jackson Memorial High School, Class of 2001.
    After high school, Mrs. Stevens attended Bucknell University and graduated cum laude in 2005 with a BA in English and the requirements met for a major in Secondary Education.
    She is certified to teach Secondary Education in PA and NJ.
    Following college, Mrs. Stevens returned to Jackson, where she has been a teacher in the district from 2005-Present.
