    Welcome to the Jackson Liberty Boys Spring Outdoor Track & Field team page.  Boys interested in participating in track and field at JLHS can contact Coach Engle at tengle@jacksonsd.org, we are always looking for guys for our team.  Our team makes no cuts and boys of any ability are welcome.  See our question/answer section below for more information.


    The schedule is posted on the links below, just import it into your phone or computer!!  If you are interested in participating in track for the 2024 season, see Mr. Engle in D102 or any of the other coaches (Wendolek or Connor) for more information.  No experience needed, we teach all events with proper technique and conditioning to develop speed, endurance and flexibility.  We have coached some of the best runners, throwers and jumpers in NJ history, come out and show what you can do!

    Spring Track and Field Event List
    Sprints- 100m, 200m, 400m
    Distances- 800m, 1600m, 3200m
    Hurdles- 400IH, 110HH
    Throws- Shot Put, Discus, Javelin
    Jumps- Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, Pole Vault
    Relays- 4x100m, 4x400m, 4x200m, 4x800m, 4x1600m, Distance Medley, Sprint Medley, Short Sprint Medley, Shuttle Hurdles

    As you can see there is something for everyone.  Our seasoned coaches with 100+ seasons of coaching experience in track and cross country will show the proper form and techniques to make you the best you can be.  Multi-sport athletes are recruited by more top programs around the country.  Successful athletes compete, not just train.
