New Student Orientation - Aug 29th

 

Welcome to Jackson Liberty High School! You will soon be meeting with Peer Assistant Leaders (PALs) to help you adjust to your new environment at Jackson Liberty High School.

New Student/Freshman Orientation is from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2024. On that day, you will meet your Peer Leader in the auditorium with other new students and the Freshman Class. After introductions, you will take a tour of the high school and hear about some of the many exciting opportunities that await you upon your arrival to Jackson Liberty High School. You will also have time to sign up for many of the clubs and activities you may be interested in. Getting involved gives you the opportunity to make new friends and have fun during your high school years.

For those of you that cannot attend the Orientation due to previous commitments, not to worry! On your first day of school, there will be plenty of faculty members in the hallways to assist you with whatever you may need and there will still be plenty of opportunities to scout out the clubs and athletic teams that may interest you.

We look forward to meeting you personally and sharing valuable information that will assist you with your transition to the high school. See you on August 29th at 9:00 a.m.!

P.S. Parents are invited to stay for a meeting with guidance and administration that will start directly after the students break out into their groups. These meetings will begin at approximately 9:45am.

¡Bienvenidos a la Escuela Secundaria Jackson Liberty!

Orientación para nuevos estudiantes
Jueves 29 de agosto a las 9:00 a.m.

¡Bienvenidos a la Escuela Secundaria Jackson Liberty! Pronto se reunirá con líderes asistentes de compañeros (PAL, por sus siglas en inglés) para ayudarlo a adaptarse a su nuevo entorno en Jackson Liberty High School.

La orientación para estudiantes nuevos/estudiantes de primer año es de 9:00 a. m. a 11:00 a. m. el jueves 29 de agosto de 2024. Ese día, se reunirá con su líder de pares en el auditorio con otros estudiantes nuevos y la clase de primer año. Después de las presentaciones, realizará un recorrido por la escuela secundaria y escuchará algunas de las muchas oportunidades emocionantes que le esperan a su llegada a la Escuela Secundaria Jackson Liberty. También tendrás tiempo para inscribirte en muchos de los clubes y actividades que te pueden interesar. Participar te da la oportunidad de hacer nuevos amigos y divertirte durante tus años de escuela secundaria.

Para aquellos de ustedes que no puedan asistir a la Orientación debido a compromisos anteriores, ¡no se preocupen! En tu primer día de clases, habrá un montón de miembros del cuerpo docente en los pasillos para ayudarte con lo que necesites y aún habrá muchas oportunidades para explorar los clubes y equipos atléticos que te pueden interesar.

Esperamos conocerlo personalmente y compartir información valiosa que lo ayudará con su transición a la escuela secundaria. ¡Nos vemos el 29 de agosto a las 9:00 am!
